Yes. "Obamacare" is a common nickname for the Affordable Care Act. The Marketplace is where you enroll in ACA plans and get premium tax credits.

In Kansas, Open Enrollment for 2027 coverage on HealthCare.gov runs November 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027. Enroll by December 15 for coverage that starts January 1. Outside those windows, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period after a life event such as losing coverage, moving or having a baby.
